Shipping
your equipment to us for repair - Please request an authorization
number via e-mail at returns@claysradioshop before shipping an item
to our facility. The authorization number must be printed on the
outside of the box. A package received without an authorization number
will be refused. No C.O.D's please. We do not accept C.O.D's.
Shipping your radio equipment for repair or servicing - We service and repair practically any brand and model
of CB and 10-meter radio equipment manufactured from the present back
to tube type equipment. We do not service or repair tube type transceivers
or amplifiers.
Payment
methods for shipped in repairs -
We accept over the phone payments via Visa,
MC, AM EX, Discover, Com
Ck, T Ck, Fast Track, and Dial a Ck. You may mail also mail a payment
using a money order, cashiers
check, personal or business check with a ten day hold for the item to clear the
bank. You may also send an instant payment or E Ck using Pay Pal. Please
send Pay Pal payments to claysradioshop@yahoo.com and reference the payment to
your phone number. No payment is needed until your equipment has been serviced
or repaired. Once the repair has been completed we will contact you via email
or phone for payment information.
Information we need from you -
Please enclose a letter with your name, bill to and ship to address,
phone number, email address and best time to reach you. Include
an explanation of the service you require. For repairs be as descriptive
and give as much detail as possible as to the symptoms you are
experiencing. Do not include credit card information with your
equipment. The package may be lost in transit exposing you to fraudulent
charges.
Estimates -
If you require an estimate please request that we estimate and
call or email you with the estimate before proceeding with the
service or repair. Please realize that an estimate is just that.
While we strive to give an accurate estimation of the repair cost's,
some failures are extremely difficult if not impossible to accurately
estimate.
Judgment -
We exercise judgment. If no estimate is requested we will
repair the equipment at a cost of up to 60% of new replacement cost.
We will hold and estimate the repair if the repair cost will exceed
60% of the new replacement cost even if no estimate has been requested.
