Basics: 10 Meter AM/FM/SSB/CW Amateur radio loaded with features.
8 bands of operation, 150 watt radio with echo, factory talkback, clarifier- fine course, +10KHz, roger beep and PA function. Utilizes a high-performance output circuit with two Toshiba 2SC2290 power transistors to generate 150 watts output (once tuned). Includes the "StarLite" faceplate. The faceplate is matte black with all lettering backlit in green and blue, Switchable sixth digit provides five or six digit frequency display, exclusive "Super Slider" circuit maximizes frequency control by switching the fine clarifier between Receive/Transmit and receive only operation or completely out of the circuit with one slide switch. The coarse clarifier operates on both receive and transmit unless the super slider switch is off. When switched off, both clarifiers are out of the circuit. The meter measures signal, modulation, wattage and SWR.
Controls: Volume, squelch, mic gain, rf gain, variable power output, dimmer, clarifier- course fine.

The performance tune up increases the radio's output by approximately 50%. The receiver gain is typically 30-40% over stock specs. This modification includes the following changes in order to enhance the radio's performance.
Turning up the Transmitter's wattage. Adjusting the modulation for maximum output without distortion Modifying the mike amp circuit for more modulation if needed. Aligning the receiver for optimum signal to noise ratio. Adjusting the squelch range	Frequency adjustment to zero tolerance. Frequency counter display calibration. (If applicable) Calibrate the Transmit and Receive meter settings. Perform a complete check of all functions. Perform a visual of the circuit board for flaws.
